2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS.

When you visit Woltools, technical connection data may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver, maintain and secure the website. This may include information such as the requested URL, date and time of access, transferred data volume, browser information, operating system and technical connection data.

IONOS may process technical access data in server log files. The exact storage period and handling of this data depend on the hosting configuration and the applicable policies of IONOS.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to provide a secure, stable and technically functional website.

3. Browser-Based Tools

Woltools provides browser-based tools for working with text, colors, images, PDFs and other digital content.

Where a tool allows you to select or upload a file, the relevant processing is performed directly in your web browser. The selected files are not intentionally uploaded to or stored on a Woltools server by these tools.

This applies in particular to tools such as the EXIF Viewer & Remover, Image Color Palette Extractor, Photo GPS Map, PDF To Image Converter and HTML & Markdown Converter.

As a result, Woltools does not receive the contents of files processed locally by these browser-based tools.

4. Image Metadata and GPS Data

Images may contain metadata such as camera information, creation dates, technical settings or GPS coordinates.

The EXIF Viewer & Remover and Photo GPS Map process available image metadata directly in the browser.

GPS coordinates may reveal the location where a photograph was taken and can therefore constitute personal data. When processed by Woltools, these coordinates remain in the browser and are not uploaded to a Woltools server.

5. Text and Other User Input

Text entered into tools such as Word Counter, Find & Replace, Lorem Ipsum Generator and HTML & Markdown Converter is processed by the relevant browser-based functionality.

Woltools does not require an account or registration for these tools and does not intentionally transmit the entered content to a Woltools server for processing.

6. QR Codes

The QR Code Generator allows you to enter a URL and creates a QR code from that information directly in the browser.

Woltools does not need to receive or store the URL entered into the QR Code Generator in order to create the QR code. The generated QR code is static and contains the URL entered by the user.

If you later scan the generated QR code, the destination website may process personal data according to its own privacy policy.

7. External Services and CDNs

Woltools uses external services and content delivery networks to provide certain technical functionality.

In particular, Bootstrap resources are loaded from jsDelivr. When your browser requests resources from an external provider, technical information such as your IP address, browser information and requested resource may be transmitted to that provider.

External providers process such information according to their own privacy policies. Woltools has no control over the processing carried out by these providers.

8. Maps and Map Services

The Photo GPS Map uses map resources to display locations associated with GPS coordinates extracted from photos.

Loading an interactive map may require your browser to connect to the relevant map and tile providers. Technical information, including your IP address and browser information, may be transmitted to these providers.

The GPS coordinates extracted from your selected image are processed locally by the Woltools application.

The Photo GPS Map may also provide optional links to external map services such as Google Maps and Apple Maps. These services are only opened when you actively select the corresponding link.

Once you leave Woltools and open an external map service, the processing of personal data is governed by the privacy policy of that service.

9. Google AdSense

Woltools may use Google AdSense to display advertisements.

Google AdSense is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Depending on the advertising configuration and applicable consent requirements, Google may process information such as IP address, browser and device information, cookies, advertising identifiers and information relating to interactions with advertisements.

Advertising technologies that require consent are only used where the required legal consent has been obtained.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Woltools browser-based tools do not require cookies or an account to perform their core functions.

Third-party services, such as advertising or consent management services, may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies where applicable.

The use of technologies that require consent is subject to the applicable legal requirements.

11. No User Accounts

Woltools does not require users to create an account or register in order to use its tools.

No user profile is required for the normal use of the available tools.
